Alice Gainer

Alice Gainer has been a CBS 2 reporter and anchor since the beginning of January 2013. She covers the breaking news, features and general assignment stories. Since 2013, Gainer has been co-anchored News at Nine at sister station WLNY TV (10/55) with Dick Brennan. On July 17, 2018, the reporter announced her engagement to partner, John, via Twitter. The couple has been waiting since that time to be married and start the next chapter of their lives. Alice made it clear in an Instagram blog post that they were engaged in Italy for a long some time. Alice posted in a blog post she made on the 27th of June in 2019 and that their wedding was going to be a month away. The couple had been going on romantic trips together as they counted down the days to when the day they tied the knot.
