Dina Meyer was born and raised within Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing the junior high school, she moved out of Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. Her siblings include two younger ones as well as an elder brother. From the age of nine till 16, she started working in the industry of entertainment through modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the techniques used by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. The other actors who received such training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, as well as other people. Following her move into Los Angeles, she got her first part in the Beverly Hills 90210. Her first role was in Johnny Mnemonic. She did every stunt in the movie, and it established her as an athlete as well as an actress. As well as Matt LeBlanc's talent agency, her agent was involved in a range of recurring roles on Friends.
