Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22nd, 1985 New York City New York) is well-known for her acting abilities across genres such as the period dramas through thrillers to action-packed films. Johansson daughter of an architect as well as a producer, was born within New York City. Hunter was twins with their younger sisters. From a young age, she developed a passion for acting. She began auditioning commercials at the age of seven. In order to improve her skills, she attended an acting class at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan and then at the Professional Children's School. In the Off Broadway play Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film with North (1994) which was produced by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was next seen in Just Cause (1995), prior to her breakthrough with Manny & Lo - a tale about two sisters who are orphans that escape. The film, The Horse Whisperer, Johansson played a teenage victim of a horrific accident. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more notoriety as the infamous teenager Rebecca. Smith became well-known for her character Nell Jones, the CBS successful series NCIS Los Angeles. The actress who won an award has been part of the primary actors on the show. Apart from her role in the production, she's a skilled stage actor. Her performances were stunning in Wildflower and in other productions. Renee Felice Smith entered the arena of entertainment at the age when she was very young. It was her love of acting as an infant. With the help of her parents Smith landed her first acting job at the age of six. She appeared in a Dannon TV commercial. Like other young actors, she started her career in theatre. While she made her on-stage debut with Wildflower she also worked with various theatre projects in the USA. She attended the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
